Recipes are heirlooms to be cherished. When a client reached out to commission custom cutting boards for her family, I had to honour her mom’s handwriting.
With a quality photograph of the recipe card, I traced the handwriting digitally to be processed by a laser and engraved the design on handpicked, high-quality maple boards. The finished product line had carefully sanded edges and a food-safe oil to seal the wood and was ready to showcase at family gatherings.
