In my Garden series, I explored wood as a medium to manipulate and design unique shapes, bringing an element of wonder and surprise that breaks out of traditional paintings.
Each flower was designed digitally to be processed by a laser, cutting the design from a pine wood board. The cutouts are then sanded and prepped to paint with gouache.
