Everybody would agree that art is self-expression, but it is also a statement of time, a reflection of what is currently happening around you.

After years of watching and playing hockey, I brought a sport I love to paper. Everyone’s Watching is a gouache series illustrating professional women’s hockey with all the nuanced conversations surrounding this history in the making.

To emphasize the strength of the moment of each piece, I was inspired myself from historical WW2 propaganda posters, which led me to maintain a limited colour palette. This decision helped me remove the distractions and unnecessary details from the visual story I am bringing to the table with my series.
